...withOut their co-star.

I'll list a few:

1998 Jordan / Bulls: 26-12 withOut Pippen (a 56-win pace)
2014 Durant / OKC: 13-6 withOut Westbrook (a 56-win pace)
1994 Pippen / Bulls: 55-27 withOut Jordan (55 wins)
2014 Lebron / Heat: 7-6 withOut Wade (a 44-win pace)

Feel free to add to the list... this could make for an interesting discussion, I think.

Pippen wasn't my favorite player but his 55-27 record In 93-94 without Jordan is pretty impressive. Pipp missed ten games that year. Someone else can research their record in those games.

Isn't that the season that Pippen clearly quit on his team in the playoffs? I remember that because it was the season after Jordan quit on his team for a year and a half.

4-6

so he was 51-21 without Jordan

which is equivalent to a 58 win season.

So Pippen was better without MJ than MJ without Pippen..... yikes

It was a play in crunch time that Phil designed for Kukoc. Scottie got mad that the play wasn't designed for him and refused to go on the court. His teammates were wrecked. Bill Cartwright cried in the locker room and kept saying "I can't believe he did that to coach."

And what makes it even worse for Pippen, is the play for Kukoc worked. Kukoc was crazy clutch. He made about 5-8 game winning shots that year.

Penny's 95-96 start to the season without Shaq had the Magic at 17-5. His stats during that stretch were 27.4ppg on 22spg at 51%, 5.8rpg, 5ast, 2stl. Not bad.

How was the OP destroyed. Just a fun fact. Wade one ring without LeBron. LeBron zero rings without Wade. Jordan and Pippen zero rings without each other.

Penny could have gone down as an all time great if not for injuries.
