Personally, I felt connected to the party ever since I found out Bill Clinton smoked herb and waxed hoes on the side (while getting away with it). With this, I found them more relatable and just stuck wit it ever since for no other real reason.

Prior to those reasons we had Bush Jr. with Chaney as choices. Give us real choices and we'll chose them.
As soon as one other Republican admits that Reagan was the Anti-Christ; they'll have my vote, probably

Funny, but I consider Reagan and Clinton as the two greatest Presidents of my lifetime. Obviously for vastly different reasons. The American psyche might have been at its lowest point historically following four years of the intelligent but hopelessly ineffective Jimmy Carter. While I believe many of Reagan's policies were misguided, he made America feel good about itself and its place in the world.

Carter was and is a great guy. He just happened to face so many issues that he could really control on top of being a bit unpopular due to his southern roots.
