LeBron regrets choking in 2009 ECF, not facing Kobe in Finals...

Post by thedangerouskitchen »

"I didn't hold up my end of the bargain in 2009 for the fans, for us, to meet in the Finals... I know the world wanted to see it. I wanted it, we wanted it, he held up his end and I didn't hold up my end, and I hate that. I hate that that didn't happen."

I gotta give props to LeBron for admitting he choked against the lower seeded Magic that year (who were playing without their second best player in the series), but I'm disappointed he didn't mention 2010 as well (which was an even bigger choke job).

All in all it is too bad though... would have been nice watching Kobe vs. LeBron in the Finals, to see which guy would have laid the biggest egg.

"Today's NBA is soft, the Defense is weak, and the rules 'really' favor the Offense."

"Lebron doesn’t guard for a full game and our game plan was to get him to play defense and he left me open all game."

He didn't choke, he got his ass kicked...like he had the entire season by the magic..only low IQ experts couldn't see the magic were the much better team
you dont choke and lose 4-2 convincingly with home court, coty, and mvp on your team and the best record in the nba

Ass kicking, not a choke

He got a nice little backhanded compliment in too...

"I mean, in high school I wore a nappy-ass Afro because of Kobe Bryant," James said. "Because he wore it. I wanted to be just like him, man. And I always said my inspiration came from [Michael] Jordan, but I always thought Jordan was so out of this world that I could never get there. Kobe was someone that I just always kind of wanted to be like and play like."
