good. eff him. he sucks outside of offensive rebounding. has butter finger around the key and gets swatted so much. he isn't worth a cent over 50-55 mill.

he's starter material just not a key guy on a team that expects to compete for it all.

That said he's probably going to get less than what he's asking for and play for a shit team.

He wanted 94/5
Cavs offered 80/5 (still more than he's worth)
He turned it down now Cavs offering 6.8/1

Dumbass lost a ton of money.

Major blow to CLE. Tristan played volleyball with himself, crashing the boards like a savage beast vs the Celtics and Chicago especially. Those 2 series would have been closer if it wasn't for Thompson's timely and barrage of offensive rebounds.

But yet and still there aren't any other EC teams that can defeat CLE 4/7 anyway, unless TT ends up with a top EC contender and tips the scale.

Welp there's your top manufactured LeBron storyline the next few months. LBJ will put up a 29-8-11 game and the reporters will be like TELL US YOUR FEELINGS ON TRISTAN THOMPSON.

The fuck was he thinking? He gets to be overpaid, play with Lebron, and win a title. Sign the contract dumbass.

Verajao bas does the same thing plus they just signed some 7 foot guy with klove, lebron and mazgov they have plenty of rebounding

Varejao is 35 coming off an achilles tear. He's not gonna be the same player. Mosgov has received more facials than Jenna Jameson. Love isn't that great a rebounder when he's forced to stay on the perimeter like he is in Cleveland.
Tt ain't worth 16 mil for 8 and 8

He's better than his numbers suggest. He's definitely not worth the money he was asking, and I never said otherwise. But the team is worse without him, and that's a fact worth celebrating.
He would be the best player on Orlando lol

This is my thinking too. I think TT knows in his heart he isn't worth what he is seeking and I doubt he gets the playing time to showcase his talents this season is Love stays healthy which would drive his value down even more. Blatt can play hard ball with him if he wants.

Other teams won't pay TT what he wants and if he wants to leave the Cavs to another team that will pay him a similar contract just out of spite, fine, go to another team without any hopes at the Finals and/or even playoffs.

I think he signs very close to 80 mill at some point this season. Probably in the winter so they can focus on their championship run without any distractions. Bron will talk some sense into him.

Similar thing happened with Andy Varajao and he settled it in December a couple months well into the season when he signed his extension.
