I'll go Iverson even though I've been voting for Mourning previously.

It's Iverson's time. He's been disrespected enough as it is.

I'll go with the man I watched win a state title in high school......The Answer.....Allen Iverson.
Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are dumber than that.

I am leaning towards Mourning with Howard as another strong candidate.
I don't get Iverson over Howard at all, and I dislike Howard very much.

Because he was a better player, overall. Howard had a very nice run for a few years, mainly in the 1 in, 4 out system. He just doesn't look nearly as dominant playing in any other system.AbeVigodaLive wrote:I don't get how mourning gets close to Howard...

Yeah when the ball randomly landed in his hands. SVG is an overrated as fuck HC. How you gonna have the best big man in the game but get him the ball only when role players like Hedo & Rahsard jack it up first?elmouse03 wrote:Dwight had the better post game.

Dwight can get offensive boards and tip ins for when they miss shots.Havlicekstealsit wrote:Yeah when the ball randomly landed in his hands. SVG is an overrated as fuck HC. Iverson. He should've been in a few rounds ago.

Jordan was only good because he played in the Triangle?
Heck, when an entire system is created around a guy dominating the middle... I'd say he had a bit of an impact.

I wouldn't be devastated if Iverson was picked here.
My argument for Howard over Mourning doesn't necessarily put either of them at #30.

Jordan didn't play in the triangle from 84-90 though and he terrorized the league.AbeVigodaLive wrote:y2ktors wrote:Because he was a better player, overall. To me, what drives Howard's value is his defensive prowess and rebounding.
I don't see much of a reason why that wouldn't be transportable across eras or systems, etc...
Would he be outrebounding Rodman or outdefending Hakeem? Probably not, but he would definitely be at the uppermost level in both of those categories, even in the greatest era of centers.

Taking a break from the board. Please reference my last post for more details if you are interested.
