No, we didn't even watch that mainstream pop music crap in my day either, we already knew it was garbage and it still is.

And I'm happy not to know most of the artists (if you can call them that) and none of the new music..you will realize in time that it's terrible and the same crap year after year and no highlight and nothing eventful at all....just a waste of time. And now all based on black people's tastes...making it even worse.
I'm definitely not out of touch at all, if I knew all the artists and the music and performers then I would definitely consider myself to be out of touch with reality and good music

Meh. I didn't care for the bulk of that album. He had some good singles early in his career. Mostly riding the coatails of real artists whose music he sampled for his really simple beats. Early Kanye was dope as fuck. He produced nothing but dope beats. His flow was nice and he talked about politics and real-life hood shit with some comedy mixed in. Then his mom died and he started doing stupid shit like marry Kim Kardashian and played himself out.
