Y'all still watch this shit?!!! WWE is less gimmicky than this self-promoting, publicity-driven crap. "M"TV covering a "music" award show is like Deadspin trying to write about politics. :L
PoLIEtics is for gay fags.

Artie in a couple years will be yelling at teenagers to get off his lawn. They'd probably mess with him because they know he'll be too fat and slow to chase after him.

That's because your old and out of touch. Just like your parents didn't like the music you listened to.
No, we didn't even watch that mainstream pop music crap in my day either, we already knew it was garbage and it still is.

And I'm happy not to know most of the artists (if you can call them that) and none of the new music..you will realize in time that it's terrible and the same crap year after year and no highlight and nothing eventful at all....just a waste of time. And now all based on black people's tastes...making it even worse.
I'm definitely not out of touch at all, if I knew all the artists and the music and performers then I would definitely consider myself to be out of touch with reality and good music

Sad thing is he used to be great. College Dropout is amazing.
Meh. I didn't care for the bulk of that album. He had some good singles early in his career. Mostly riding the coatails of real artists whose music he sampled for his really simple beats. It all went to his head, and unfortunately young people now think he's as great as he thinks he is, even though nobody is listening to his music.
Early Kanye was dope as fuck. He produced nothing but dope beats. His flow was nice and he talked about politics and real-life hood shit with some comedy mixed in. College Dropout and Late Registration were both classics if you love hip hop. His later stuff was fun and alright. Then his mom died and he started doing stupid shit like marry Kim Kardashian and played himself out.

Yeah man. But mature saged men such as ourselves have evolved past the stage in our lives where dumb shit like that mattered, if you know what I'm sayin G. We've got far more serious and in depth topics to concern ourselves over. Give me a firm handshake on that, so we can shake like men. Real men.

And don't get me started on Mtv's Movie Award trophy. A goddamn bucket of popcorn GTFO.
