Beasley has looked much better than I expected out there, and Oden in 29 minutes this year:
14 pts
8 rebs
2 blks
5/11 FG
9 fouls
still rusty, but a lot of promise. They've looked great defensively/rebounding in the half court with him.

Beasley has been fantastic all season. Oden is coming along slowly but surely. The key for him is health and conditioning. He's been out for a long time and he's not yet in game shape.

I remember some people claiming that these were bad signings not too long ago.
I said all along that Miami was the perfect situation for Beasley to come back to and that if Oden contributes anything it will be a bonus.

It's a world class organization. It reminds me of those old movies about Boys Town where wayward youth would go and turn their lives around.

I didn't know there was such a thing as "too much" help.DorianRo wrote:Wade,Bosh,Oden,Allen,Beasley,Chalmers,Battier.

Other than Lebron and Wade they did not have a single player averaging even 15 pts per game until Bosh just made it.
Not a single other player on the team is even averaging 10 per game and none of them would start for any of the better teams in the league (other than the big three).

Everyone that was doubting the oden signing was idiotic. He didnt cost much and if he comes back at decent health he would solve all of miamis problemsripper76 wrote:I remember some people claiming that these were bad signings not too long ago.

We still don't have a large enough sample to judge him but he was the classic high reward low risk investment.
Just seeing him play is amazing to me.
