No one ever says "I'm going to Orlando for vacation."

They say "I'm going to Disney world"

Who said they are the who's who?
They're on the list of prestigious Orlando celebs that you provided, are they not... and of those 39 listed I'll bet Clampett and Mr. Rogers are probably the best known worldwide.

 at your city.
Nopejustbecause they are famous doesnt make them anything

Much like no one ever says "I'm going to Vegas for vacation."

They say "I'm going to lose all of my $$ in a desert town with a few bright lights."

Clearly you haven't been to Vegas in like 30 years (if ever), because there are a ton of things to do in Sin City beside gamble.

Orlando without the theme parks, on the other hand, would be just another Boise Idaho, Davenport Iowa, et al.

Yeah, and actually as gaming has become more widespread, fewer and fewer people come to las Vegas for that reason. They come to party. There are more and more activities outside the casino and that's also why the good deals on food, shows and rooms are a thing of the past.

I live in Chicago dope... why would my feelings be hurt?

:L

...and if you have to ask what's there to do in Vegas besides gamble then you clearly haven't been there in like, 30 years (if ever)... and if that's the case you come off looking like a fool for criticizing the city when you have no clue.

The onus is on you now to answer the question, gramps. Your response said nothing; it was nonsensical gibberish as usual. We are used to that though, so no surprise there. Try again.
