They'd have been foolish to not take care of Wilson before they get too deep into camp. Now with a clear mind, back to business. As a fan of a team in the NFC, hopefully we see a let down as his hunger potentially dissipates (which I highly dizzoubt).

It is, but paying him 22M a year instead of 25 is Team friendly, in a way. Allows up to keep Wagner now. I'm okay with it (Of course it's not my money)

I agree. I was hoping he'd go for the 20.5 Million deal, but he didn't. It's really not as bad as it could have been.

The Seahawks D is awesome but wasn't it the Seahawks ability to scout these kids and know where they would fit best? I'm not too worried about losing a guy here and there as they seem like they can rebuild if needed. Locking down a potential star QB in his youth is a must in the NFL in my opinion.

Yeah, it was paramount they got that deal done, and they did. Good day in Seahawks Nation.

But the stats with and without Wagner last year were shocking to say the least. He's a difference maker.
