I was a huge 2pac fan in my wiggering days. When I first heard "Trapped", I recognized him as the dude who ran anchor on Digital Underground's "Same Song" and was immediately hooked on that voice/delivery/passion, and couldn't wait to get my hands onto anything he touched (not so easy to do pre-internet days) from that point on. Tons of remixes and collabos with other west coast artists, and work with launching Outlawz, to ultimately the Mackaveli 7 Day Theory album, so much good shit he touched, yet the music that lived on post-mortem from his brilliant library were a few cheesy hits like California Love & Gangsta Party which does his legacy an absolute injustice.
