He messed up on that statement. He's still trying to fight it but this one is going to be harder to overcome. You might not want to say stupid shit about veterans. But that's the problem with this guy...he's in constant troll mode and he's going to piss off every single demographic possible...it's just a matter of time.

this man would provide safety from illegals, jobs for the jobless and best of all comic relief. What more could you want in a President?

Trumps right though. Getting caught and becoming a prisoner isn't impressive. He's overrated.
Without knowing all the circumstances it's all bullshit. McCain I believe has real stones. I think Trumps are pretend.

Getting caught doesn't prove you have stones. Brains > stones anyways. Morals and ethics are more important than stones as well. Suicide bombers have stones.
I take offense to Trump back handedly suggesting it's McCain's fault he was captured. And the courage he apparently showed afterwards is pretty amazing, although admittedly difficult to verify.

I agree with you on morals and ethics. I think McCain 'trumps' Trump on both by a country mile.

Trump is a clown, but I see nothing wrong with dodging the draft instead of being a sheep in a stupid war.
I don't have a problem with someone dodging the draft and avoiding going to a pointless war, but don't show your hypocrisy by insulting a war veteran when you were too pussy to go. That's just stupid. (I expect nothing less from Trump, though).

There were ways to avoid the Vietnam War, legally, it was called deferment.

Back during the Civil War, you could pay $300 dollars and somebody would fight in your place. Grover Cleveland was one of those people, ironically so did John D. Rockefeller.

Shit, if you got a way out of war, then take advantage. But Trump is an idiot for calling anybody out for going into battle.
