Good. Pay the man. Cowboys are cheap as hell for trying to drag this out.

I'll bet anybody up in here $2.5 million dollars that this vato will end up serving at least one significant jail sentence (30 or more days) before this contract sees its end.

We won't know who wins until the 2020 season. In other words, it was a rhetorical bet. I don't actually expect anybody to have a $2.5 million dollar bet on the table at any time with me.

We're not doing an avatar bet where we have to wait 5 years to see who wins.

Teams were just waiting on someone to set the market. Calvin Johnson is the best and is paid like the best. Fitzgerald signed under a prior NFL landscape where WRs were paid more money. Bryant, Thomas, AJ Green, and Julio Jones were all set for upcoming contracts so teams were waiting to see who signed first so they can have deals all fall in line. Now these guys should all be signing relatively soon.

I tend to agree with Artie, American football is terrible. Takes nearly 4 hours to play a game that is meant to be played 60 minutes.

The NFL's popularity is all the more remarkable when you inspect the fare it has to offer each week on television. An average professional football game lasts 3 hours and 12 minutes, but if you tally up the time when the ball is actually in play, the action amounts to a mere 11 minutes
