He made his bed, now he has to lie in it. Then again he can go home and cry to his $120 milllion.

Remember, when Anthony got all petty and jealous of Jeremy Lin?
That was funny.

I'm gonna be a loose Knick fan next season, just so racists like StephenA and Carmelo can eat a fist full of crow when their new star takes over the city and puts them in the postseason.

No, because it never happened, he was extremely supportive, but go ahead and make up your own stories, you're good at thatAbeVigodaLive wrote:Remember, when Anthony got all petty and jealous of Jeremy Lin?

Did Melo even say that?
These words are coming from "sources". Many believe a lot of hearsay about Melo but let someone like Kobe and many others say he is the toughest to guard in the NBA, no one wants to listen.

Thank You Arty. These dudes are really gullible and fall for anything the media throws out there.elartman1973 wrote:No, because it never happened, he was extremely supportive, but go ahead and make up your own stories, you're good at thatAbeVigodaLive wrote:Remember, when Anthony got all petty and jealous of Jeremy Lin?

It's hilarious that many believed that Melo was upset/jelly because of Lin. Either they didn't see that they had a very good connection (probably because the media somehow forgot to show that they were quite close) or are just dumb enough to just believe everything that they see or don't see.
These same peeps act like they know so much about what's going on though.
Melo and Lin even had a special greeting toward each other, hmmm that could have easily been shown by media outlets to dispel this ugly rumor that had peeps online even calling Melo a racists.

Yes...Someone here posted a link to something and I saw the headlines there...Also, they were talking about in on sports radio and said that he called Jr. Hardaway complaining about it...Smelters wrote:Did Melo even say that?

I can't find the link now so, please forgive me...
Re: So, Mello is unhappy with the Knicks move?
Melo has been getting negative press ever since he won that title for Syracuse in 2002. I think this happened because Melo garnered a lot of attention basically coming from nowhere and leading his team.
At the same time the NBA/media was trying to hype Bron like no other so I think Melo and his amazing run had some people thinking maybe he was the best player in the draft.
Then came the stop snitching video. The pistons then passed on him which would have meant Melo could have done a lot of winning in the East.
Then he lost the ROY when he should have won it or at least have been co ROY.

There isn't a link, this is hearsay. Kinda like the hearsay when he was supposedly jealous of Lin.denali4eva wrote:Yes...Someone here posted a link to something and I saw the headlines there...Also, they were talking about in on sports radio and said that he called Jr. Hardaway complaining about it...Smelters wrote:Did Melo even say that?

Melo "could have" done a lot of things, but the fact of the matter is he hasn't done shit in terms of winning and he is already declining as a player.Smelters wrote:Melo has been getting negative press ever since he won that title for Syracuse in 2002. Re: So, Mello is unhappy with the Knicks move?
There were numerous reports about JR Smith and Anthony surrounding Lin from inside sources after Anthony came out and called Lin's Houston contract "ridiculous."
If you have a hard-on for Anthony... run with it. I have no problem with that. I'm not one of his biggest detractors around here. If you only believe what players actually say out loud to the media on record... run with that too. If you think the media only reports lies and fabrications... run with it.
But it's actually quite rare for one player to deride another player (especially a former teammate who you claimed were close with prearranged head bows) in public like that. Embarrassing a former teammate for earning a large contract? Meh.
So run with Arty on this one if you want. According to many many reports and insiders, Anthony wanted D-Antoni out of NY and publicly ripped Lin's contract. I'm sure both of those are just coincidences. Fair enough.

The Nuggets haven't been the same since they received 4 starters (some shit reserved for "the best player in the game" lol) for him. Have they made it out the 1st round yet?gaskill15 wrote:Melo "could have" done a lot of things, but the fact of the matter is he hasn't done shit in terms of winning and he is already declining as a player.Smelters wrote:Melo has been getting negative press ever since he won that title for Syracuse in 2002. The Knicks saw their 1st playoff win and best record since the 90s since Melo has been there.
How is Melo declining?
