Re: NBA Draft Discussion Thread
Been reading some things before the draft that we might not have known before. Notably -
Incoming first round rookies (guaranteed contracts) don't receive their first paycheck until November. Hopefully none of these kids go out and buy their momma a house and shit next week. Wait until the season starts.
Since they declared for the draft and hired an agent, the NCAA basically sets them free. Which means these kids get the hookup to the max. Free shoes, free clothes, hotel stays paid for and other freebies leading up to the draft. Some of these kids have been in New York City for a week now doing photo shoots and interviews. Who do you thinks paying for a hotel in NYC for 5-6-7 days? Their momma who works as a Walmart cashier?

I see Aaron White is projected to go in the 2nd round. That's a bit of a surprise. Team him and Marble up in Orlando.

E$PNTMZ trying to drive a stake between Okafor & Towns when neither of them really care who should be #1.

Darko 2.0! #LOLKnicks.
Re: NBA Draft Discussion Thread
Nice pick by Philly. Noel and Okafor give them great balance down low.

Whoever the Magic pick Arty will say it's a perfect fit and that's who they were going after anyway.
