Jah has blessed my garden

Post by wailuaFC »

Just made my first home made chile verde with homegrown tomatilos, jalapeños, cilantro, and garlic, only things I didn't grow myself were the Oregon and cumin I used to season the pig my brother in law shot for me that's Now simmering in my homemade salsa. Should be down in a few hours just in time for the game

Oh nice. That's just as good.

Hatch, NM is where the best green chilis are grown. You could find some online easily if you want to try it.

Oh sweet good to know, I'll have to try some. I just replanted my garden a few months ago and it's really taken off this time, by far my most successful one since I was a kid and I've been loving all the fresh produce

Thanks brotha, I usually try to cook on Sunday's, it's a day off and during football season it's a great excuse to have some friends over and start day drinking

Looks great, bro.

I have some habaneros, jalapenos, chives, and cilantro going right now (we planted a few weeks ago). We also have an orange tree in the back (made marmalade last year) and two big rosemary bushes in the front yard.

I'm going to make an infused butter right now, and use it to top the bone-in ribeyes that I'm going to grill later. I was thinking about doing roasted garlic, some finely shredded cotswald cheese, rosemary, and S&P.
