Honest hypothetical....No right or wrong obviously...

Post by Repeat3peat »

Just wanted some opinions and reasoning behind it....AGAIN, there is obviously now way to PROVE anything.

IF, Scottie Pippen were to have come into the league as a Cav with LBJ as the established star/mentor......or with the Lakers minus Shaq having Kobe as the established star/mentor....Which guy would have better helped him develop into the player he eventually became in your opinion...?

Kobe would be a better match because James and Pippen's skill sets overlap so much.

As to who would help him develop more I don't know. Most of these guys are pretty self motivated.

I was just trying to give you the answer you were seeking.

Actually, you were probably hoping for the other answer to keep the thread moving... My bad.

Kobe because he would have no drama with Shaq.

Kobe. He would be close to Jordan in how they handled practice, etc. Holding guys accountable for their intensity and work ethics. James until recently was more interested in dancing, camera poses, stats, and flopping.

I realize you/we don't know....just trying to honestly balance and define....."leader" and "makes team mates better".

I would say Bronze likely is better at making already good players better/great...in a game setting on the court....but when talking about a raw talent that needs to be takin behind the woodshed daily in practice having their potential "greatness" dragged out of them kicking and screaming(Pippen IMO)....I am not so sure.

Lebron.

He made Mo Williams into an all-star. 'Nuff said.

Kobe is a sidekick who has never made anyone better.

LOL, these Bulls fans are so bitter and jealous that they just can't help making a fool of themselves.

Pretty soon these bozo's are going to try and convince us that BJ Armstrong was better than LeBron too lol.
