Hmmm... interesting. But I bet kobeunderbite will have a way to spin this. After all, he's the one who called it a "flop" and failure after the opening week or two... and ripped me and others who claimed that any movie that makes up to $100M on a relatively small budget is anything but a "flop."
He ripped it for not meeting opening day guess projections.
Now, that it's surpassing some other projections, should we still call it a "flop?"
So, is Anchorman 2 still considered a "flop?"

They should have never made a sequel to begin with. It was iconic enough in its own right, much like The Hangover could have been.

True. But considering we live in a world where sequels are annually among the year's most profitable movies... it was inevitable. At least it took 10 years, making it less likely that there'll be a #3, #4, #5, et al...
