Can we safely say LeBron is now the 3rd best player on the Lakers...?

Can we safely say LeBron is now the 3rd best player on the Lakers...?

Post by thedangerouskitchen »

Luka is clearly (and by far) the best Laker, but has Reaves finally supplanted LeBron as the 2nd best player on the team?

Last Month
Reaves: 24/5/6 on 48%/37%/94%
LeBron: 22/8/8 on 45%/23%/79%

Pretty damn close, anyway.

Discuss.

Nobody could ever flop as well as LeBron, you got that right. That’s about the only thing

Nothing impression about those numbers when you've got random 10th men off the bench dropping 20 on 60% just about every night in the Modern Era, thanks to (by far and away) the weakest/softest Defense played in the NBA since grizz' Glory Days of the 1960's... and speaking of Defense, LeBron hasn't played all-out on that end in 10 years.

Get yer weak sauce outta here...

Nothing is more embarrassing than when a poster can only use one (1) play during an entire season to try and claim that a given player is something he is not... in LeFraud's case, the man averages FEWER Blocks per game than many Guards did during the 90's, when teams put up far fewer shots than they're taking the past 10 years.

In other words even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then. As usual, Shill has nothing.

The much greater emphasis on 3s goes hand in hand with less blocks..
Despite this, Jordan’s last 5 years block average is much LESS than LeBron’s. And Bron has played SEVEN more seasons.

About a month or so ago, JJ Reddick said LeBron was playing at an all Defensive team level, both on ball and off ball. Even accepting some exaggeration, that is still very high praise indeed.

How so, when you claim the 3-point shot is so well defended today???

 at you BWGC guys continuing to talk out of both sides.

Also... since perimeter play and ball movement (on said perimeter) dominates the game today it stands to reason that STEALS should be way, waaaaaay up, but that's not the case because Defense has never been weaker/softer than it's been during the Modern Era.

Lastly... at cherry-picking the last 5 years. Besides, your hero is a 6'9 F so he should average a LOT more Blocks than a 6'6 Guard, yet for their careers Jordan averages more.

LeOuuuch.
