I won't disparage Kobe, but even when he was still playing this wasn't a debate. Only the most hardcore homers were ever delusional enough to think Kobe came out ahead. Same vein as the "Bird is better than LeGOAT" retards lol

It was a bad debate that I was on the wrong side of too many times. Peak and career wise, LeBron is better by a really wide margin.

Bird WAS better, fool. There is nothing LeFraud does (or did) on the court that Larry couldn't (or didn't) do... except flop, bulldoze to the basket via the off-arm-shove, whine constantly to the refs, and lose 60% of the time in the Finals.

Yeah sure, your boy played longer (obviously) so "statistically" he's going to look like the better player "on paper", and rank higher on the all-time list (for most people). But head-head as players Legend was every bit the Scorer, a vastly superior Shooter, a much better Rebounder, just as good a Facilitator/Passer, and just as good Defensively (pre-injury)... although LeFraud at his peak (for about a 5-year window) was a bit better than Legend at his best while on the flipsid, Legend always gave the Hustle and Effort even after the crippling injuries... which is something James hasn't done Defensively in about a decade. Legend was also a better Teammate, more Competitive, and more Feared than James ever was.

There really is no debate here: Legend > LeFraud but LeFraud played longer so "check the stats".

I didn't read any of that, but I already know it proved me correct.

Almost no one here ever admits being wrong on anything. Kudos. It's a lesson many never learn. At the end of the day, being right except on a very small list of things, just doesn't matter.

At one point in time, it was a legitimate debate. Lebron passed up Kobe once he got to miami and started winning championships. It wasn't the championships themselves. It's that LeBron's game elevated to a level that Kobe never quite touched.

Not that wailua isn't objective, but almost no one here would ever admit to being right about this on the Kobe side. LeBron has run up the scoreboard too brutally, we all know we were wrong.

Plus LeBron’s a Laker now AND he won a title the year Kobe died… so all is forgiven regardless

It's never was a real debate, Kobe Bryant is a much better basketball player than LeBron.

If I have one (1) game to win I'm taking Kobe all day, every day. Kobe lived for "the moment". He craved the opportunity to be "the man" every single night whereas LeFraud prefers to defer to his teammates.

Also, ANY edge (if there even is one) that LeFruad might have on Offense is more than offset by Kobe's superior Defense... and ain't it funny that Defense never seems to matter when it comes to LeFraud.

Wonder why...

I can't think of a situation where I would ever bypass Lebron for Kobe.

Turns out you aren't a moron and don't have an absurd amount of cognitive bias. Others always aren't so fortunate.

In that situation, I think a lot of people are taking Kobe. One shot, absolutely.

I'd say you are a moron and prove it every time you post in any modern NBA discussion, you side with the current thing because you're a simp to modern pop culture.

You and your phony, self righteous opinions can eat a bag of dicks, take note that I value you alot less than you could ever dream of me, bitchboy.
