as a civilization, we are nearing the peak of creativity and innovation compared to the past. with the advancements weve made in electricity, architecture, transportation, communication, etc we could maintain our current way of life indefinitely. We've accomplished so much that theres little left to revolutionize and now, as humanity, we're mostly coasting.

Things have to change. But our economy relies on people constantly buying more and more shit. And if you are a company and you have a record setting quarter, you have to make sure you beat those earnings the next time....and so on and so on. It never ends. But with the advent of AI companies should be able to figure out how to chop at least 8 hours off most people's work week. Hell even without AI most people waste close to 8 hours a week in an office setting. You can have the same amount of productivity with less hours for most office jobs.
