Caitlin Clark since her Olympics SNUB

Post by Robceltsfan »

24.5 PPG
5.6 RPG
9.1 APG
1.3 STLS
47.8%FG
38.8%3P
92.5%FT

Fever are 7-1 in that stretch.

On the season, she's 9th in points (and climbing)....and she leads the league in assists.

I’d say top 2 at this point.

She’s already leapfrogged some big names in the MVP race for her performance since the olympic break. They’ve already clinched a PO spot which is crazy considering they started the season 1-8. She’s got some good play out of Mitchell & Boston, and now we see Hull stepping up as a premier shooter and pesky defender but make no mistake, Clark is the fuel, engine, transmission, PCM, and exhaust system of this vehicle, Indiana’s success is 100% attributed to Her.

Wilson is the only player who still has an edge on her and some think even she’ll be leapfrogged by our queen by this point next season.

If IND goes far in these playoffs, she’ll likely go into next year as the league’s top player and star, and I just wanna be here for the look on Swoopes and Angel Reese face when they’ll be forced to have to acknowledge this.

I might actually go to a game in-person.

I would have given that about a 0.5 percent chance or so WNBA BC (WNBA Before Clark)

It was a 0.0% chance for me....but it's on my bucket list at this point. Gonna have to drive up and catch a Mystics/Fever game at some point.

As the board ages, T levels are plummeting to a point where women’s basketball is being discussed with the same level of passion that men’s basketball was discussed a decade ago

I'll hold up a Trump-MAGA-Anger General sign if I run on the court to touch her (non-sexually of course, she seems like she would give me a hug for being such a big fan :D)

I got my 2nd CC jersey the other day. Now I have home & road jerseys. I’ll get the all star one next as I can’t decide which one i’ll have her sign when we go on our 1st date. I might just bring all 3 with me but I don’t want her to think I’m some psycho. They hate that shit.

Didn't you lose a fight to a 60lb dog as a 30 something year old adult male?

The discussion is about Queen Caitlin, not women's basketball as a general topic.

Just like (at the time) people would discuss Ronda Rousey in MMA but not be able to name more than two or three other WMMA fighters.

The anti clark fanbase will just say she still doesnt have a ring.

But i just find it odd how whoever selected the teams or whoever runs the Olympic team snubbed her off when she is such a huge draw.

On the one hand it’s neat to see generational talent bring their sport into the limelight… but on the other hand it’s still the WNBA. Personally I think it’s cool that she’s putting up big numbers and angering the Denalis of the world. But I couldn’t name one of her teammates if someone put a gun to my head.

And I definitely won’t be buying a fucking Clark jersey… and it’s not on my “bucket list” to see her play in person. So in that sense Madness is correct. Check your T levels, fellas.

You could argue it's more manly to watch females play basketball than it is to watch a bunch of sweaty men run up and down the court.

Maybe you’d have a point if the majority of the women didn’t look like this…

Even if that's the case, they're still way more feminine than the NBA*.
