So you're going 5-2 over the final 7?
Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are dumber than that.

I am seeing 9-1, and the Mets taking complete control of the division.

I'm like 80% sure Manaea is throwing a no-hitter today, he's looking that sharp

6-4, would have been 8-2 but for two losses that were just given away. Absolute dick punch losses that made me want to die.
Not a bad trip given the opponents but we lost ground nonetheless as the Braves have forgotten how to lose.
85 wins looking more than achievable, which would have been enough last year, but not this year.

It’s kinda fucked up the Mets organization has put you & I in a position to where we have to root for Jesse Fucking Winker.

The thing about Winky is, as much of a dick as that guy is, that's exactly the kind of player the 'old Mets' wouldn't have touched because of his issues with NYM fans in the past. The new savage running the team doesn't give AF who you are or where you've been, he's not going to stand on ceremony, the right player will be acquired no matter the noise (and by the same token, the fat guy at 1B is going to walk in the offseason if he thinks he's going to squeeze a max contract out of David Stearns, we're not paying for nostalgias sake here, not anymore).
I give Billy Eppler a lot of credit for getting anything of value in exchange for the ultra washed Scherzer and Verlander, let alone top-100 blue chippers, but the contrast in Stearns nabbing Winky, who has been the most productive deadline acquired bat, and Eppdog having brought in Tyler Naquin and Vogelfat to bolster a 100-win team, is startling.
