its the Hans Zimmer symphonic score of gladiator 1 vs the Jayz cRap of gladiator 2.
some dudes simply put the hans zimmer score over the trailer of gladiator 2 and it worked.

Maybe I’m wrong but I’m not worried about the music. I’m positive it’ll be a normal score during the actual film. The hip hop was just meant to hype people up… which obviously backfired.

normal people like their sand and sandals epics purely European and aristocratic. noble well written lines of high poetry, a deep plot, great acting by great actors and a well written score i.e 10 commandments, Ben Hur etc

they actually picked an amazing hip hop song, but they butchered it. They replaced the incredible instrumental with something else, and kept interrupting the excellent hook, and kept repeating a random line from JayZ. Here is the original version of the song they used.The chorus comes in first.
