It depends on if the boxer had years of wrestling under his belt. Are we gonna pretend Francis didn’t originally try to become a pro boxer? And then he realized it’d be easier to take his mediocre striking and just knock out MMA guys, which I don’t blame him for.

And I love how fat Fury half assed it in there against Ngannou and still got the win. Then AJ came along and took the fight seriously and literally took years off of Francis’s life.

FWIW though… I was rooting for Francis against Fury. I respect him as a person quite a bit. Didn’t take Dana’s lowball offer and instead decided to strike out on his own under his own terms, and he delivered.
