Yes.
Kobe did however cripple the franchise for his last few seasons when they paid him a balloon contract for mostly rehabbing from injury and playing mediocre ball.
It held the franchise hostage and unable to make any real moves for years.
They got some decent lottery picks as a result and were set up for a nice rebuild but Then lebron barged in and traded them all away and they developed elsewhere and Lakers homers still jerk off over them and want to bring them back ho.e as if they are even interested...other than Dlo
