Larry Bird, LeBron James, Tim Duncan, Hakeem Olajuwon, Nikola Jokic...

Post by Robceltsfan »

...and Jayson Tatum.

That's it...that's the entire list.

Players that have led their team the entire playoffs in points, rebounds & assists while winning the Finals.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are dumber than that.

How many players on that list failed to win Finals MVP during the year in question?

Please notice Jordan was not named in this prestigious list.

Are these stats for the regular season, the playoffs, or both combined?

The Finals.

Though, Tatum also led the Celtics in those categories for the entire playoffs.

Jordan didn't care about "stats".

So how many players led their team in PTS, REB and AST but failed to win Finals MVP? We know about your boy Tatum. Anyone else?

Kinda sucks 22-8-7 isn't good enough, not to mention 31-11-8 in the closeout, but who cares. Make a sign fly to Boston & show your LOL memes at the parade this Friday.

Maybe his horrendous shooting splits of 38% from the field and 26% from downtown cost him? :noidea:

So now, the haters have been reduced to:

"Well, yes they are a legendary team, but they still suck because they are so good they are boring", AND

"Tatum stinks because he didn't win an award Larry Bird also didn't win in his first Finals win".

It would be funny if it wasn't so sad.

It's actually funny that just like Larry Bird in 1981, the haters refuse to acknowledge there is more to the game of basketball than efficient shooting.

Tatum was rotten shooting this series (and sure, that means he's blocked from claiming a GREAT series), but he was actually quite good in pretty much every other aspect of the game.

Jordan used to literally run to the scorer's table to check his totals when he was chasing triple-doubles, and knocked people over in the locker room to get the stat sheet at the end of games.

He was literally one of the most stat-conscious players in history. He just happened to be a solid player while doing so.

According to Kobe haters, this ring doesn't count for Tatum.

Tatum is a corny goofball, copied the lines of at least three other NBA players. Dude was studying YouTube championship celebration highlights to steal the night before
