Four (4) FULL days off in the middle of a series... not between series' while waiting for the other matchup to finish their series. Nope... 4 days off right smack in the middle of an existing series.

These are "supposed to be" the most physically advanced/superior athletes we've ever seen but they all need load management, a full week off for all-star break, hardly any 3 games in 4 nights, 4 days off between playoff games, zero physical contact allowed, etc... and YET these pansies are injured more than ever, and they can't even play 38 minutes a night.

It really is embarrassing if you've been fortunate enough to have watched 80's -00's basketball.

TDK never claimed that athletes in the 80's - 00's were superior to today's players. On the other hand you, bush, and many others on this board have been babbling on and on and on about how physically superior todays athletes are relative to past eras.

So again: Why do such superior athletes (allegedly anyway) need 4 days (ie; 96 hours) off between games??? Seems these vastly superior athletes should be able to play every night if need be, yet there's more breaks, days off, game stoppages, and fewer minutes played today than ever before.

Seems the Myth about today's athletes being so superior is just a bunch of hogwash.
