Artman just pulls and compresses the schedule to achieve the best result.

Instead of extending the timeline to 2019 and seeing they have barely advanced at all, he'll compress the start date of the "real" rebuild to 2022 so he can say they've gained 25 regular season wins and a playoff berth instead of having to admit they've actually gained 5 regular season wins and no playoff success since 2019.

Artman is also very fat.
