I think someone becoming the face of the NBA is a different thing than being the best player.
Are Joker/Giannis/Embiid anything close to that idea right now? Duncan is a top 10 all-time player, but was he ever anything close to that? I don't think so.
He has a certain hype that none of those guys had on the way up, but he doesn't seem (from what I've seen) to have a hyper-dynamic personality or ultra-high levels of charisma (which is fine), but I could be wrong.

Maybe not the face of the league per se but when Houston gets back into the playoffs Alperen Sengun's gonna get his shine.
