Overall another very good season for the Lakers
In season tournament champions, top-3 record after February 1 and played the eventual champions extremely close again. Lakers with some minor personnel changes and a new coach are on the cusp of yet another championship.

Lol at kobeunderballs and Lakers homers with low as fuck expectations thinking this is a successful season while claiming the magic don't deserve to be in the playoffs...what an absolute dumbfuck.
Magic are closer to a championship than the lakers will be for the next decade

Someone sounds very angry that the Lakers despite the toughest schedule in the league were still in-season tournament champions and played the eventual champions far closer than their team would

You need every little crap on earth the help your severe insecurity...
My team didn't loses 2 years in a row to the Nuggets. In fact they own the Nuggets. 3-1 the past two years including beating them in their own building while missing 8 of our key players.
And we won a game vs the raptors and the bucks on the road the years they won the titles...does that mean anything?
No.so niether does winning a home game vs the nuggets
So wrecked

Plus you said it was a very dissapointing season for the lakers like last week while claiming its the best magic season in 15 years.
Which were both massive fails.
Lakers had no business in the playoffs...magic clearly do.
Man up and don't dare jump on our bandwagon.
If you weren't there when we were rebuilding then we don't have room for you

Everyone moved on literally within the week.
Imagine still jerking off over beating a young team while having 2+ hall of famers on your team
Sad and desperate
This will go down as the best lakers season they will have in over a decade
Ouchie

At least I can say that my Heat had a horrible season and did not improve one bit from last year.

The margins in the Nuggets series have been extremely thin. The Lakers are not far off. A trade and a new coach will put this team on the doorstep of the title.

Lakers won a championship this year and went toe to toe with the defending champs. Orlando got owned as fuck in the IST, and struggling against the lowly rebuilding Cavs.elartman1973 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 30, 2024 6:05 am Lol at kobeunderballs and Lakers homers with low as fuck expectations thinking this is a successful season while claiming the magic don't deserve to be in the playoffs...what an absolute dumbfuck.

The Lakers had a better record against both the East and West than the Magic did this year, and won a championship.
How the hell can you argue they did anything less than better this year compared to the Magic?
lmao

Re: Overall another very good season for the Lakers
This is why I hate talking heads shows like First Take always talking about the Lakers.
The stone, cold truth was that they simply weren't *that* good and just don't have the horses relative to the modern NBA to win big. They actually weren't that bad in the playoffs relative to what they actually had to give...but you can't squeeze blood from a stone.
But over the course of the season guys like Shannon Sharpe would contort reality to make them seem like legit contenders just to give everyone an excuse to talk about them and shove another big market team up our assess (and not in a good way).

Re: Overall another very good season for the Lakers
Sorry man. but 47 wins and a first-round ass-kicking is "not" a very good season unless you had very low standards and expectations for the Lakers... and a team with two (2) future HOFERS (including the "alleged" GOAT - lololol), an all-star level 3rd option, and two stellar role-players (capable of dropping 20+ points on any given night) that advanced to the WCF a year ago should "not" have such low standards / expectations (nevemind the Lakers led 75% of the time in the series, and lost 2 of the 4 games on game-winning shots from a guy who shot 40%/29%).
If we're being honest this was a Lakers choke-job led by, of course, the greatest Fraud in NBA history.
...and speaking of LeBron, did anyone catch his post game comments blaming the Lakers' struggles this year on injuries???
Reaves: 82 games
Prince: 78 games
Davis: 76 games
Russell: 76 games
LeFraud: 71 games
Hachimure: 68 games
So the Top 6 guys in the Lakers' rotation only missed 41 games combined, yet according to LeFraud the team was decimated with injuries.

Yet they led in the series 75% of the time, and lost 3 of the 4 games on game-winning baskets from Murray (who shot 40%/29% in the series), and a game-winning brick attempt from LeBron.Bush4Ever. wrote: ↑Tue Apr 30, 2024 10:19 am This is why I hate talking heads shows like First Take always talking about the Lakers.

Fact of the matter is the Lakers lost because LeBron is a horrible leader AND even worse in the clutch.
