Losing at Home to the mediocre Heat (missing their best player) is inexcusable.

He's the 41st highest paid player in the NBA in 2024.
Next year, he'll be 8th.
People are still going with that "highest paid" narrative? lol

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are dumber than that.

This was the matchup I was dreading. Miami seems to have our number. Of all our home losses the past few years, Miami has won the most. We're something like 10-13 against them @ home since 2022.
But then again a team that averaged 12 threes a night during the season needed 23 to win, so..
edit: nevermind I misquoted the tweet. I originally couldn't find

Guys like Jordan, Pippen, Payton, Stckton, etc. would average 8-10 steals a game in this wiiiiiiiiide-open, perimeter dominated style of play.

So the best team in the NBA today (and the favorite to win a Championship) chokes the chicken in the Playoffs on their Home floor... yet we're told this is the most talented / skilled era in history.
These Celtics would get eaten alive by the 80's Lakers/Celtics/Sixers/Pistons, 90's Bulls/Rockets, 00's Lakers/Spurs, 10's Warriors, etc.
