Obviously we're all American or Canadian here but where do your ancestors come from?

I am essentially 50% Italian / 50% Irish.

I did 23andMe and got the following results:

Paternal Haplogroup: J-M241
Maternal Haplogroup: H5a1

European: 99.7 percent, with Italian being the most dominant association, which surprises me because I had to do a historical genealogy project for college, and pretty much everything paternal led to Spain (and my grandfather was born/lived in Spain early in life). Maternally, everything I could find at the time linked back to Germany.

I also have more Neanderthal DNA than 38 percent of 23andMe customers, and <2 percent Neanderthal DNA.
