I'm kinda with Arty here but not for the same reason. Pasta is always on the bottom of my list as a meal choice....but my wife loves pasta, so sometimes I'm forced to get pasta...including tonight. We ordered delivery and tried a new restaurant.
Because it's delivery, I'm not going to order steak or pork chops etc. because that shit might show up cold....can't risk it. So then my go to is usually lasagna, but this place was known for baked ziti so I went with that. Honestly, I really didn't feel like pasta so it wasn't going to matter.
But here's my issue with pasta and it doesn't matter what kind....alfredo, baked, ziti, spaghetti, etc. After about 10 bites I just don't want any more of it...even if it's really good. And the baked ziti was good. So yeah, if I go to an italian restaurant it's either lasagna or I skip the pasta dish and get some sort of meat entree instead.
