Had a similar incident on Friday. I thought zoom was like Microsoft teams where you could play other stuff on the computer and not be overheard. I was listening to my red pill content but it wasn’t that extreme at that point I the show. I got away with it lol

I always go through multiple layers of mute (Zoom, button on computer, volume to zero plus mute on Media player) when I'm watching something else during Zoom meetings.

Everyone stayed cool and it only lasted about three seconds and he got past it really quickly and smoothly so I don't think he'll get into trouble. Especially since it was only audio and weird things happen on Zoom audio sometimes anyway.

He reacted about as well as he could given the situation. The meeting is almost entirely tech/nerd bros so I don't think anyone is going to rat him out.

Even though I have my work PCs at home, I always remote into them from my primary PC.

That way I can separate where I open things from so there's no potential crossover of business and non-business.
