Overperforming Magic have their best season in 13 years... and finish with same record as Lakers with a disaster season

Talk about anything here.

Imagine if you posted something relevant...
Still waiting.

Keep hating and trying to discredit a team that won 22 games 2 seasons ago

Imagine acting like playing against the West is a factor in the Eastern Conference playoffs

Now post the magics record vs the Nuggets then the lakers record vs the Nuggets

Thanks again

You have a lot of autism.

Their record is inflated relative to the entire league because they play a strong majority of their games in the weaker conference. That's not really disputable. It's a mathematical fact.

If they played the Lakers spread of games (not even in total SOS, just in terms of East vs. West) with the same in-conference winning percentage, they would have gone roughly 44-38 or 45-37 (26-26 against the West, 18-12 or 19-11 versus the East).

That would put them in the 11th seed out West.

Sorry that upsets you.

Edit: Their net rating in 2024 was 15th/30, dead smack in the middle of the NBA.

That's generous because they were one of the healthiest teams in the NBA. They're easily below average and everything broke their way this season in a Cinderella fairytale ride.

What Undies said is true of course, but I was trying to be as generous as I could to Artman.

Claiming to be an elite sprinter because you compete against a bunch of fat kids (and beat a modest majority of them) is entirely different than saying you an elite sprinter outright.

The balance of power overall (in terms of interconference wins vs. losses) in 2024 was the most extreme (West winning 57.7 percent of games) since 2015, and much stronger than the last two years, where they won 48 and 50 percent of games.

It matters when assessing overall quality, as opposed to relative quality.

The Magic this year were a C-level student competing within a classroom mostly filled with the demented and mentally retarded.

The Lakers were a C+/B- student competing against college graduates.

Providing the Celtics and Magic win there first round, they will meet in the second round of the playoffs. Providing they both win.
Thanks for clarifying they will only meet if they win in the first round, but not if they lose.

That makes everything a lot more clear.

Nobody claimed anything.
Your fabricating of lies has though.
It's not about this season. It's about the next decade.
And magic best 3 players are under 22 but keep acting like they have peaked and have no money to spend in the offseason and that the lakers aren't at tge end of their little era and will be a joke for years.

Keep up with reality and stop living in such a narrow-minded and small world

In other words , you're triggered by their success this season and the many years of success ahead.

Not sure I'd call this a "disaster season" for the Lakers, considering their 47-wins is the second-highest total since LeFraud has been with the team.

Jordan wasn't on the Bulls at age 39, and he sure as hell wasn't playing alongside a first-ballot HOF Big Man in his prime (averaging 25/12 and playing elite Defense), another All Star level player in Russell, and two other starters capable of dropping 20-30 Points on any given night... and even if he did, what on earth does that have to do with the thread?
