The first, and most precious major begins tomorrow. Augusta is special. It just is. Golf fans know the course, and especially the back nine, as well as their home course. We've witnessed 8s and 9s registered on a 150 yard par 3 (12th), countless eagles on 13 and 15, dramatic birdies and rinsed balls on 16 and glory and heartbreak on 18. Jack with his miraculous victory in 86 culminated by that incredible birdie on 17 ("Yes sir"!!!) that sealed the deal when Norman choked and bogeyed 18. Tiger in 97 announcing his presence with a spectacular exclamation mark.

Scottie is the betting favorite with good reason. I'll pick him, Spieth, Xander and Rahm as my 4. I'd like Rory to do it, but I don't see it.

Here's hoping for tons of drama Sunday afternoon. I'd love for that to include Tiger, but alas, I don't think that dog can hunt anymore.
