Re: NBA strength of schedule this season
The west is so good. The lakers are the 8th seed and have the same amount of wins as the 4th seed in the East. The 10th seed in the west has less losses than the 6th seed in the East.

Orlando with the cakewalk regular season. This stat doesnt even factor that the other teams were resting their best players against the magic. They will get owned badly in the playoffs. They shouldnt even be there.

And FWIW Orlando can only finish at best 16-14 against the West.

The record vs the west is beyond irrelevant and nobody gives a fuck or even keeps up with it.
Magic play against the sixers and the bucks twice.
And every team plays every team.
Imagine acting like they play a different league full of teams
You're dumb as fuck
And the fact they played the vast majority of their games vs the west when 6 to 8 players were out and you completely exclude this very valid fact just proves you're cherry picking nonfactor shit.
They don't have to worry about tge west unless they make the finals...in which case tgey own the Nuggets and split with the wolves...

Magic would be below .500 with a real schedule and close to dead last in the Western Conference

Imagine thinking they play a different set of teams.
The difference between top and bottom SOS is not that much or a factor.

Silver trying to gift the magic a championship this season. Disney is clearly behind this.
