I never got James Bond movies. Same with Godzilla.

Just doesn't appeal to me at all.

But that's what makes a market.

There is a big spectrum of Godzilla movies. Some of them are creepy and horror-driven, some are pure disaster movies, some action-adventure with Godzilla as the hero, some are goofy. You can't condemn the entire franchise and it is much more varied and nuanced than the Bond franchise.

I never got into the LOTR or The Hobbit. I have seen several now, wishing I had seen them at the theatre. I do like the Bond movies. Not sure when the last one was.

Gorilla is way before kobeunderballs time.
I was watching the real shit as a kid as well as ultraman.

Yet another example of him and his generation piggy backing on my generations shit and acting as if its new and fresh and theirs

I wouldn't say I was a fan of Godzilla until the remake in 2014(?).

Thought that movie was very well done. The sequels have been solid too.

I'm talking gorilla.
And I was on the top deck of the empire state building as a kid and all I could think about was the king Kong movie that had just come out with Lange and Bridges....
WAYYYYY before kobeunderballs parents even met

Also had seen the black and white original that I guarantee he's never watched

I have seen every movie featuring Godzilla or King Kong ever made. You're just a smelly, fat pig, being old doesn't make you an authority in any subject whatsoever.

Days after hitting the massive $200 million mark at the global box office, Warner Bros. and Legendary’s Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire has barreled past two new commercial milestones. Having just completed a week of release, the action spectacle on Thursday not only passed the coveted $100 million mark domestically but in doing so, also overtook the lifetime domestic total of its direct predecessor, the pandemic-era blockbuster Godzilla vs. Kong. Both films have been directed by Adam Wingard, who got his start in small-budget horror before becoming a steady studio hand with large-scale, special effects-heavy tent-poles.

Went and saw this with my wife last night. It’s a Kong movie which happens whenever they join the 2.

The movie got a little too cartoony for me at times but still fun to turn my brain off and just enjoy

I won’t ever get people like Artman that fall over themselves to mock these kinds of movies.

The zero gravity fighting was hilarious. I laughed out loud a few times at the absurdity of some of the action.

All of the most nuanced and intelligent Godzilla and Kong movies were made during this generation. The same is true of superhero movies compared to the brainless and goofy Reeve Superman and Keaton Batman's. Everything that was stupid for older people's generations has been refined by young people.

Old people like you need to drop dead already and stop complaining about the advancement of society. Luckily new technologies leave you more and more incapable of making your voice heard.

And don't talk about Godzilla or Kong ever again, fatty. Stick to Telemundo.
