The acting and credibility of the child actors was atrocious, and the special effects were non-existent to the point where I had absolutely zero immersion in the story.

The originals did it FAR better, and it's not even close

They nailed it with the casting of Tony though

I don’t think children should be acting in a play that normalizes coke and murder, cussing to a lesser degree but still. If those are things you think children should be partaking in, then I’m glad you never raised a child.

How would you know what I raised or didnt?
And it's just acting, the important part is knowing right from wrong.
Are you one of the people that tried to ban certain music and demanded warning labels yet claim you are for freedom of speech and expression?

You think those kids aren’t going to immediately watch the actual movie? We’ve all posted together for at least 15 years, with you sharing more than most posters, we know you. I’m pretty anti cancel culture, but I don’t think we should be normalizing children to things that are extremely detrimental to their health

I'm sure they saw the movie prior.
So what?
Who didn't watch rated R movies as a kid?
And no, you don't know me and I haven't really shared as much as you think
