So the first 2 minutes confirms what TDK has been telling you / others for years: Defense in the 90's was much MUCH tougher / more physical than it is today.

Thanks for proving me right (again).

NEXT...!!!

"Today's NBA is soft, the Defense is weak, and the rules 'really' favor the Offense."

"Lebron doesn’t guard for a full game and our game plan was to get him to play defense and he left me open all game."

Boomers always confuse shitty offense with great defense, and then overlay the "muh era" mental illness.

The 1970s actually had by far the lowest offensive rating, yet no one says boo about how great the defense was...interesting how that works. Moreover, the difference between the 70s and 90s was basically the same as the difference between the 90s and 2020s.

I see bush is still shook-up AF over the damning comments Silver, Gobert, Dumars, etc. made concerning today's soft and weak Defense...

Get over it bub. Today's game/rules heavily favors the Offense, just like Defense was the name of the game back in the 90's. Why does that fact upset you so?

The rules were so powerful, it made the 1990s have wildly shitty FT shooting compared to others eras, even eras that came before them.

lmao!

90's = hard/physical Defense
20's = soft/weak Defense with rules that heavily favor Offense

Again, why does that fact upset you?

Bushy boy. This stupid old man would like to give you an NBA edication. Up until 1981 the league on free throws was 3 shots to make two. Last time I looked, 66 percent was still higher than 50 percent. Now, go back to the pillow fight.

the legacy of 80's and 90's basketball is officially dead and buried. Today's players are more talented and better athletes. Everyone agrees, except irrelevant gray haired old people who will be dead soon.
