Post by lettherebehouse »

Wtf Spencer? LA is the fashion capitol of the world, maybe, and you go and get yourself an aesthetically vomitable number no basketball player should ever wear?

Most ppl understand this.

Think I’m bullshittin? Name me 3 NBA guards… wait hol’up scratch that, name me 3 NBA players throughout NBA’s history off the top of your head who’s worn #26.

It looks like something that would happen if they were shooting a basketball movie and no one knew anything about sports. The wardrobe dept says give him number 26.

Kyle Korver is the biggest one that a quick Google search shows and I wouldn't have even got that off the top of my head anyway.

I am terrible with remembering players numbers outside of the obvious ones.

Regardless, OP seems accurate.

I bet Abe wore #26 when he capped out his career with his high school JV team.

I would sincerely try and hurt an opposing player who wore 26 as a number.

Great basketball numbers
3
5
7
8
9
23 (only because of MJ)
24 (since four is the second digit and times two the first digit which is also two, and most FGs are worth 2 pts)
32-35 (golden range)

Good basketball numbers
1
6
15
21
50

"Meh, I guess it's okay" basketball numbers
0 and 00
2
4
10
12
20
31

Lowest level of acceptable numbers
11
13
15

Everything else is horseshit and you look like an asshole.

14
16
17-19
22 (probably controversial, but double numbers almost never work well, and two is an ugly looking number)
25-29
30
36-49

Very well said, IMHO. But I disagree with 13. I see it as a premium number in baseball & basketball.

I went from 23 to 10 to 35x2 during my illustrious high school career.

That's not too bad.

Jordan to Rodman to Reggie Lewis :D

Really Bush?

First of all, 15 and 25 are both great basketball numbers. Greta baseball numbers too. Can’t go wrong with 5 at the end.

And double numbers never look good? You’re really gonna say that when we have Kareem (33), West (44), Isiah (11), Baylor/Clyde (22), and Luka (77).

Really bruh? :stephena:

I won't argue 15 being "good" vs. "great". That's fine and reasonable people can differ.

25 is simply a BS number. It's plainly ugly, with too many curves going all over the place. 25 is fine as a volume setting since it's a multiply of 5, but not as a sport number.

I said double numbers *almost* never work well. 33 works well. No, 22/44/77 are full of shit. 11 is okay because of the minimal number of lines required to make the number (for two-digits).

It's not about the players attached to the numbers, except in super rare cases like MJ.

It's about the number itself.

Volume settings should always be divisible (evenly) by 5.

Lists should always end in a 5 or 0 (Top 5, Top 10, etc...)

These are things that are not open to disagreement because it comes from the mind of God.

Men can argue about jersey numbers (within reasonable boundaries), but not volume/list settings.

There are 613 Jewish commandments. The Jews have been thrown out of >1000 countries at various times, victimized by the Holocaust, etc...do you think that's a coincidence? It's basically spitting in the face of God. Drop three of them or add two nonsense commandments if you have to, but don't screw around with it. Contrast that with the 10 commandments of Christianity...who is winning (2.4 billion vs. 16 million)? Christianity did it right.

The answer is no.

I've seen you claim you are healthy as an ox, when you have tits, sleep apnea, etc...

That's why I asked. Saying "I'm healthy" as your tits jiggle would seem to fly in the face of common sense.
