The Joker needs talent around him. Jamaal Murray is an an All-Star. However he is so good that you don't need super high level talent all around him. In any case Paolo, Franz, or Jalen aren't in the Joker's area code.

In fact Paolo and Franz are the only two guys who have actually performed at a level where you could say with a fair amount of confidence that they're capable of being cornerstones on a Championship team. The rest of the roster is full of complete unknowns with respect to what they "could" or "might" develop into.

Historically, that's almost always been associated with a ceiling that's capped way below the championship level.

Jokic is in his 9th season though... Paolo, Franz and Jalen haven't hit their peak yet (or so you'd have to believe that, since they're still so young).

Regardless, Denver winning last year just throws grizz' statement out the window... as you do not need a stacked team to win a Championship in this era. That was my point. The 2022 Warriors weren't really "stacked" either, nor the 2021 Bucks.
