Their defense is elite, but their offense is literally ranked 19th this year (to-date).

Scoring points per possession (however you accomplish that) vs. the standards of your peers is what makes an offense great.

When you have 20 more possession than your opponent....the offense ranking is pretty irrelevent as can be.
And they are very efficient.
Offense is a non issue. They Can and do score with the best of them and were uo 40 vs the highest ranked offense. So?

3 pointers are the last offensive option.
Taking it to the hole or free throws are the main options ( lead the league in FT attempts as a result). When The ball does swing out the three painters tgey are good open feet set shots. Which is why they go in and banchero is shooting over 45% in 3s

Making the offense actually pretty elite...they have no problem scoring

Yes, in the bits I've seen of them this year they are extremely well-coached defensively, and one of the few teams to actually get after it defensively w/effort, and multiple guys who are long and capable of guarding multiple positions/switches effectively.

I still question their ability to score consistently at a high level, but I guess we'll see. If they had a real superstar instead of Paolo they would be a legit team today.

His 20/6/4/TS+ of 99 is not a 20/6/4 of the 90s/early 00s, etc...
