Great deal for the Giants honestly. Very low risk. Yankees had an all-time fuckup of an off-season from my view. Snell and Bellinger at the prices they ended up settling for are way better value than what they surrendered and paid for Stroman and Soto.

Keep in mind that you are allowing a Mets fan who has been telling us for the last 4 years that Cohen is gonna take over baseball to get you all emotional.
The Mets just spent more money than anyone in MLB history last year, and they finished 29 games out of 1st place. Undies is very bitter of your teams success. He has admitted that he hopes that the Mets can one day be like the Dodgers.

I have great respect for Andy and no one could have predicted Snell's market collapsing to that extent. However the Glasnow trade did strike me as overly aggressive at the time, particularly with the Burnes and Cease trade markets still developing. With that being said LAD being in position to withstand body blow after body blow to its rotation is a testament to their incredible organizational depth which is what David Stearns is now developing with the Mets and their pitching lab.
