MLB 2024 Season Discussion Thread

Is Trout really going to end his career with 15 career plate appearances in the playoffs? That should be impossible with the modern playoff system. Even Julio Rodriguez has twice that and he’s a 3rd year player on a team whose made the playoffs once since 9/11.

I know it’s popular to shit on the Angels organization for that but it’s really on him at the point. He had every opportunity to go somewhere else a couple times but probably enjoyed the low expectations, early vacations, and LA wimminzs. Won’t fault him for that last point doe.

Crow Armstrong is not good and I'm happy with the 6 weeks of Javy Baez over him, sorry to tell you and gaskill

Even if Pete stays a bust the move saved the Cubs from giving Baez 150 million to have a .600 OPs for 6 years. Win win either way for me.

The Orioles are stacked. Best team in the league and they are the only team in MLB with a tougher strength of schedule so far than the Mets, and still more studs waiting in AAA. Impressive rebuild.

Phillies currently have the best record in baseball (technically leading Baltimore by .5 games).

I wasn't expecting this and I don't expect this to continue; especially with Turner out for 6 weeks.
