Can LeBron reach 40,000 points this season?

Post by Havlicekstealsit »

Currently 1,260 points out. At his current ppg average he's on target to do it in about 57 games. Only problem is he hasn't played in more than 56 since 2020.

And speaking of points, both Harden's 307 points & Russ is 491 points away from 25,000 each. Not often two teammates reach that mark together in the same season (if they last that long together)

I think that's a great over/under for where he finishes the season. Father Time is undefeated and while LeBron is still playing at a pretty extraordinary level considering his age and minutes on his body, I think 57 games is likely a lot. He's probably playing at least one more season after this I think, so he almost surely will get there.

Lol, you're always conveniently unavailable whenever AG posters come thru whether Orlando area or nearby wherever you're working. You're not punching anyone here in the mouth because you'd purposely avoid them.

Dude literally stayed less than 20 minutes from my house for a few days and refused a meet.

LeCommie has been VERY lucky playing in an era where the defense is not allowed to bump, grab and hold you on the perimeter, when the lane is wide open enough to land a jet plane, and when bigs are chucking 3's instead of protecting the rim.

He would have been FAR MORE successful in the ISO 90’s.

lol... not a chance, c'mon man.

Dude shoots 36% from beyond 3-feet for his career, in an era where the defense can't touch the ballhandler on the perimeter withOut drawing a foul. Imagine him in an era where the defender can grab, hold, push him out of position without a whistle.

Oh my, that 36% would be more like 26%... and good luck taking it to the basket in an era where the 7-footers are actually protecting the rim. Guaran-damn-tee you a) he's not shooting near 70%+, and b) he's not taking 35%-40%+ of his shots from within 3 feet, like he does in today's era with zero rim protectors. Don't forget, LeCommie doesn't have Jordan's athleticism and body control around the basket. He'd get rejected most of the time he tried bulldozing his way inside, or the Bigs would routinely knock him on his ass until he's back on the perimeter chuckin' jumpers at that aforementioned 26% clip.

LeCommie in the 90's (with the rules of the time, and withOut reliance on the 3-point shot) averages 22-25 PPG with Kobe-like FG%.

That's real spit right there.

Karl Malone dominated the effeminate 90s NBA.

LeGOAT is bigger, stronger, faster, and a lot more skilled than Malone.

Not too shabby.
