You're right. No one would really care if they kept him on board, especially considering he's black. I don't think he's replaceable either with a recasting, he's killing it.

Marvel spread themselves way too thin in terms of story and talent. It's not too late to right the ship. It's a good sign that they trashed half a season of Daredevil and will restart, they know they can't afford to keep fucking up.

If they were smart they would trash Captain Marvel 2 or release it on Disney+ because it looks set to be a flop of biblical proportions.

I don't really like Blade as a property in general tbh. Blade is a pretty subdued character usually, I like Ali more than Snipes but honestly it isn't like you need some amazing performance from Blade, you just need an actor with presence which Ali has. The movie will live and die with its story which it sounds like is stuck in writing hell and that all versions to date have been pure woke garbage. Good chance with all of these delays that Ali will walk away from the project anyways, it sounds like on Twitter.
