I'm about to have Chik-Fil-A for the first time ever

I'm absolutely not a fried chicken (I hate crunchy texture on chicken) or chicken sandwich guy (the concept seems strange to me), but for some reason I thought I would try it today.

I'm 99 percent sure this is the first time ever I've done fast food with chicken sandwiches and the like.

I got a spicy chicken deluxe meal w/pepperjack, fries, and a lemonade.

I also got a fudge brownie

The concept never clicked with me.

I enjoy chicken-chicken, but not bread.

To me, chicken is best as a solo act, but I'll see what I've been missing in a few minutes.

Review:

Sandwich:
Okay, I was wrong. This is very tasty. I do think it's carried by the condiments and sauce to some degree, but the chicken is wet, lacks crunch (good), and is flavorful and spicy. I enjoy this and will order more in the future.

Fries:
A surprisingly excellent entry. Perfect consistency. Relatively flavorful as far as these things go. Interesting shape adds a little fun to your eating experience.
Score: 8.5/10

Drink:
It's lemonade. Hard to mess that up, but hard to elevate as well. They forgot my straw, which was regrettable.
Score: 7/10

Treat:
Fudge brownie. I took a bite. Seems pretty standard. Fat.
Score: 6/10

The ending to the sandwich got a little bit difficult in terms of bread coverage vs chicken coverage.

A chunk of chicken rolled out of the sandwich.

I have excellent sandwich discipline, so I know I wasn't taking abnormal or weirdly shaped bites.

I think it's because the chicken is (unlike a standard patty) a bit uneven in shape.

I find them somewhat overrated.
Not bad, but not the second coming either.
I have enjoyed their grilled nuggets, and the fries are very good.

- Chik Fil A is the only decent food found in a drive thru
- Their egg scrambler hashbrown burrito goes hard in the rectal algorithim
