It is only for the summer, but this was announced to the school community today (name changed for confidentiality):
"Next week we will be launching our Accelerated Learning Program via our website. Swamp has been selected to be the Director of Accelerated Learning. We are so appreciative of his willingness to help us get this program off the ground. If you are interested in tutoring this summer, the rate is $50 per hour, please email Swamp."
I was also granted my request that I was hoping for to teach World Cultures instead of ELA for the regular 2022-23 school year.
I am moving into administration at work

If i was going to work in schools, i would be a principal
Seems like a chill job, you don't really do anything, and get paid more than everyone else. Yell at some kids and sit back and bang the secretary in your office. House knows whats up

Congratulations.
Seems like you're happy with this decision and that's most important.
I also assume it comes with a pay raise.

Thanks, phuture. The headmaster and I agreed that I'll be paid the same as what I have been at the summer position in ATL that I have worked at since 2017.PhutureDynasty wrote: ↑Sat Mar 05, 2022 10:39 pm Congratulations.

The 'raise' to me is in the time spent working and commuting. I'll be spending less hours hours on campus, will have a short commute, and will have no bus driving to pick up and drop off students.
Dealing with parents more is not ideal, but I can manage that.
