My microwave just died

I was heating up some "Caldo de res" that my buddy dropped off on his way out of town, compliments of his mexican mom....fresh handmade corn tortillas too!
And I heated it up and the microwave just died...after 8 years.

I had that happen at my work last week. I was plugging away and my monitor suddenly turned off and I could get them to turn back on. After messing with it for a bit, I finally figured out it was my power outlet that shorted. I called the building maintenance guy and he flipped the switch but that nuked the microwave which is on the other side of my office wall and must be on the same circuit.
